One of the very best features of this Canon is the viewfinder. I can’t believe so many other digital cameras lack this extremely useful tool. A hobby I enjoy requires me to be able to take several hundred outdoor pictures in a single day without access to a battery charger. With this Canon, I can turn off the LCD screen and save battery power by simply using the viewfinder instead. Over the past ten days, I have taken more than 1000 pictures (all outdoors, no flash, without using the LCD screen) on a single battery charge. Hard to believe, but the battery still isn’t depleted.
